Local cookery school, Flavours offers a huge variety of cookery and skills classes to adults and kids, drawing on cuisines across the world to inspire and inform young and old. We’ve partnered with them to help get more budding chefs through the door, calling on our strategic expertise and design skills to pique the interest of the local community.

We’ve supported Flavours in creating a sustainable strategy which works for them long-term, providing advice and the tools to create things like flyers themselves. We feel this sort of approach can really help set up small, local businesses for success.

We initially worked on a social media audit for them, delving deep into their channels to discover what works for them, what they’re missing, and how they could improve. We looked at in-depth analytics of who their demographic is and how they can best target this audience.  

Armed with this essential information, we created a content strategy for the year, spanning national and local key dates, their calendar of classes, press opportunities and industry activity.

Halo has been an inspiration and a great support for our ideas and helping us to clarify our vision. They make it easy for us to keep up with the modern marketing demands of our business. What's more, they are located right in our local high street, which fits perfectly with our social enterprise and community ethos.

Alongside our strategy work, we refreshed their print materials, finessing their brand look and feel to ensure vibrancy and consistency across their assets. The outcome was a suite of marketing collateral that communicates their offering consistently and impactfully.

We also created a range of Canva templates that could be used by their team and our internal social media manager, allowing for more regular and refined organic social media posts. These templates followed the same look and feel of the posters and flyers, and streamlined the approach to posting on their social channels. 

As well as ongoing social media management, we’re providing Flavours with monthly design, copy, build and management of their email newsletters, ensuring they regularly and consistently reach out to their audience using a tried and tested method we know works.
