Culture Icon of a small blue heart

At Halo, we welcome others with open arms. This means we value and respect every individual, celebrating their differences and encouraging their unique potential. We also nurture a culture of compassion and flexibility, which empowers our people to strike the work/life balance they need to thrive.

The great thing about our team is that everyone brings something unique to the mix, but they all have one thing in common ‒ an ambitious desire to make positive change. It’s a mindset that can’t be taught, and is why we value attitude just as much as experience. So, if you want to get your teeth into an agency that celebrates initiative and individuality, get in touch!

Zoom back to the early 90s and you’ll stumble across the beginnings of Halo. Owned by Michael Stewart, the agency started strong with clients such as Feather & Black, Multiyork, and, most notably, Organix baby food ‒ the incredibly successful brainchild of Lizzie Vann.

Staying true to its family-owned roots, Michael Stewart Design was bought by husband and wife, Andrew and Kate Sheerin, in 2004. Changing the agency’s name to Halo, Andrew and Kate took on Michael’s clients, including Organix, which they transformed with the brand’s original character illustrations.

Having been with the agency since its conception, Organix was bought out in 2008 by Hero, proving to be one of Halo’s biggest client success stories. It’s no surprise that Lizzie Vann and Michael Stewart continued to work with Halo for their new ventures, Pineapple Fish and Bearsville. Halo also produced packaging for some of the region’s biggest brands, including Dorset Cereals, House of Dorchester, Percy’s, Ringwood Brewery, Hope & Greenwood and Urban Guild.

When Jess and Nick Bain took over the agency in 2022, a new era was born. With their sights set on creating an agency like no other, the husband and wife duo quickly established a value-led culture built on authenticity, integrity and trust. Now, with a strong team of talented like-minded experts, they build powerful, long-lasting relationships with their clients, some of whom have been with the agency since its conception. In September 2023, they won Best Place to Work at the Ringwood Business Awards ‒ the first of many more to come!

WHAT WE DO

As a full-service marketing agency, we do it all. But that doesn’t mean you have to use it all. By getting to know you and understanding your objectives, we can create a tightly tailored marketing plan that’s wholly focused on the results you need. Whether it’s a shiny new website, big rebrand or product launch, we’ll pour everything we have into exceeding your expectations and fulfilling your marketing goals.

Work with us

Plan

This is where we immerse ourselves in the who, what and why of your organisation. By spending time understanding your marketing goals, we’re able to create a strategy that’s intimately aligned to your objectives, audience and timescales, giving us a rock solid platform from which to create, deliver and exceed.

Create

We love this part. Armed with an intelligent strategy, we start to explore all the creative possibilities. Drawing upon our multi-skilled team of designers, writers and digital experts, we come up with imaginative and sometimes surprising concepts, bringing them to life with beautiful design and captivating storytelling. Once we’ve agreed on the direction, it’s all hands on deck until we produce work we can all be proud of.

Develop

With a deep insight into the audience you want to reach and the results you want to achieve, we roll out our work strategically and methodically. This means we cherry pick the most relevant and effective marketing touchpoints, executing the rollout with consistency, energy and impact.

Exceed

We’re obsessed with achieving real, tangible results, so we track your campaign’s progress closely, refining and tweaking its execution to achieve the best possible outcome. By paying close attention to performance, we’re able to meet and exceed your expectations, which, for us, is a job well done.
