We were asked to build a custom hybrid app that enables holiday guests and owners to manage their stay and book on-park activities, allowing the Activities Team to manage availability, including running reports on available spaces.
With three different user types, we needed to create three different app experiences, ensuring content is always relevant to the audience. We built the WordPress site displayed within the app, which delivered the full user interface and experience, and we worked with a third-party app development agency to develop the native app features. We also integrated the entire contactless check-in process into the app, including a holiday countdown, holiday home details, a Google Map with directions to your front door, the site’s gate code and a digital key to unlock and lock the property.
Seamless park interaction for owners and guests has improved user experience whilst staying at Cove parks. Digital keys have improved security, and communications with all users on the park are better than ever. Having imported the extensive holiday guest arrival data from the client’s old system onto the app, the teams have gained additional insight into guests and their holiday habits.
