Ant’s Employee Spotlight

Make way for our second Employee Spotlight, featuring our Lead Developer Ant Zardis.

Ant’s been with Halo for five years (happy anniversary, Ant!), working stealthily in the background to build slick, high-performing websites that push boundaries and delight clients.

He’s a man of few words, so we’re not surprised his answers are to the point! But that’s just one of the many reasons we love him.

Let’s start strong. What would be your superpower and why?

Teleportation, so that I can be anywhere I want in the blink of an eye.

Good one! What did you want to be when you were little?

A BMXer or skateboarder.

That actually doesn’t surprise us at all. What three things would you put in Room 101?

Ticks, fleas and spiders.

Totally agree on the ticks and fleas, but spiders catch flies and flies are annoying! What quality do you value most in people?

Reliability.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Buy Bitcoin.

Strong answer! Tell us something unusual about yourself.

I’m vegan (which isn’t that unusual these days!).

If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you take?

Guitar, flint and steel and a pack of cards.

We’ll let ‘flint and steel’ count as one item! If you could compare yourself with any animal, which would it be and why?

Saint Bernard because they’re calm, relaxed and affectionate.
