Brief

Having created the brand and website for luxury UK holiday park company, Wayfind Escapes, we moved onto developing a sub-brand for Pennant Park’s newly refurbished restaurant and bar. Alongside the brand creation, the client wanted a full suite of menus and support with the launch to ensure they opened with a bang.

APPROACH

Having been newly refurbished as part of a multi-million pound investment, the restaurant has been transformed into a stunning destination to meet, eat and drink, with sweeping views over the golf course. So, we needed to create a sub-brand that felt just as luxurious.

The name ‘Salt & Earth’ had been put forward by us during the initial brand development of Wayfind Escapes, and although they didn’t use it for the main brand name, they knew they’d want it for the restaurant and bar.

As a sub-brand to Wayfind Escapes, we wanted Salt & Earth to align perfectly whilst also being able to hold its own, so we set about creating an elegant, welcoming and luxury identity that naturally sits alongside the parent brand.

With a food offering spanning breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner and kids’ meals, not to mention a bar serving tea, coffee, drinks and cocktails, we needed to design and produce a suite of menus that look beautiful and feel straightforward. We explored various routes to find the perfect design that encapsulates the Wayfind Escapes brand, with the added flair of Salt & Earth.

To boost loyalty, we also created reward cards and sent door drops to the local area with exclusive offers, encouraging the local community to make Salt & Earth their favourite place to be.

For the launch, we created awareness through campaigns across social media and emails, with lots of teasers showing beautiful CGI imagery of the refurbishment.
