Halo were tasked with defining the business ethos, its values and how to drive all aspects of their messaging.

‘Home Appliance Guard’ had successfully grown since 2012. However, new services and a widening of the product range required the business to look for a new strategy.

Home Appliance Guard became – zest.

With the arrival of a new brand came a new company ethos, working practices, HR polices and marketing and website materials.

Create a brand that challenges

The challenge from the directors was to be disruptive. The strengths of the business are its honesty and integrity, which sadly lack in much of the appliance warranty market.

We created ‘zest’ and ‘fresh thinking appliance care’. Gone were the stuffy and confusing forms, brochures and web pages.

A new clear and friendly brand was created to help customers to understand a complicated subject.

We did a complete rebrand, from company name, brand colours, tone of voice and website. We created company & customer brand brochures and free gifts branded for their staff and customers!

Bespoke illustrations

We created bespoke and fun illustrations to be used across the new website and printed brochures, to insert fun and colour into the brand.

Employee caricatures

We created individual bespoke caricatures for all zest employees to be used for digital and print material. Each employee also received a mug with their mug on it!

Benefits video

To help customers understand the product benefits, we created a series of engaging product videos.

The tone of these videos had to reflect the new brand, using clear language and bold colours. We filmed a presenter on green screen, then dropped our illustrations into the video to create a fun, informative and colourful brand video.

From brochures and stationery to website, van wraps and free gifts, we managed and created the full range of marketing material.

It was important that zest staff understood the new brand and personality and could communicate it to customers. We created a range of internal communication assets, to help the management team train staff.
