As a long standing client ,Tints of Nature approached Halo to help develop a new modern Magento 2 store in order to improve security and optimise the mobile experience .

Tints of Nature provide outstanding haircare products, selling across the UK, USA, Australia and Canada. They had 4 websites, for 4 different territories. These sites were not optimised for mobile use and customers found it difficult to browse and purchase products.

With nearly 50% of all traffic coming from mobile devices, Tints of Nature were missing out on a lot of potential revenue. The Magento 1 platform was coming to the end of its support life cycle, which gave concerns over security and data protection, especially since Tints of Nature have customers all over the world.

Our solution

With a refreshed brand and new imagery we designed and built a powerful Magento 2 multisite.

This allowed Tints of Nature to manage the UK, USA, Australia and Canadian store all from one dashboard, giving them control of pricing, delivery, tax, content and everything in between.

We had to integrate with three different payment platforms, SagePay for the UK, for the USA and SimplePay for Australia. Each handles local currency, which means the local territories can each login and manage their own orders.

Mobile experience

We optimised the mobile experience to ensure the site delivered the best user experience for their customers by removing any barriers to purchase.


We integrated the site with Dotmailer so all newsletter signups and customer communication could be easily managed and reported from one powerful platform. This gave the Tints of Nature team full control over how they talk to their customers.

An exclusive Colour Club

Tints of nature wanted to reward loyal customers who purchase regularly and engage with the brand, creating ‘The Colour Club’.

We built a custom Magento 2 module, which allows customers to sign up online and get access to exclusive offers and content. This is all integrated directly with DotMailer, making it easy for Tints of Nature to manage and communicate with its members.
