This is a fantastic opportunity to join our down-to-earth Independent Marketing Agency right in the heart of Southbourne. We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to join our growing team.

You’ll support a flagship agency account and lead on smaller accounts, helping shape the strategy and deliver campaigns and projects that achieve and exceed objectives.

Working in a small pod led by an Account Director the ideal person will approach new opportunities with a proactive, positive growth mindset. Feel confident with numbers and accountability for project billing, feeding into team forecasting. Your experience will allow you to think on your feet, solve problems and quickly identify solutions across various mediums.

Ideally, you’ll have first-hand agency experience, be passionate, full of initiative, and willing to get stuck in.

What you’ll do

  • Build great relationships with clients to truly understand objectives and deliver on them
  • Co-create marketing strategies and plans that strive to meet and exceed client objectives.
  • Manage integrated campaigns from brief to delivery
  • Maintain and manage accurate costing, retainers, project reconciliation, and timely invoicing
  • Ensure the profitability and growth of accounts and projects
  • Understand, gather, and document project requirements
  • Create project plans and quotes for sign off
  • Write inspiring creative briefs
  • Schedule work in a timely and efficient manner
  • Undertake testing on projects, to ensure the final delivery meets requirements and scope.
  • Reporting on campaign performance, using this insight to provide recommendations and improvements.
  • Contribute towards proposals, pitch, and tender documents
  • Present concepts and proposals to clients
  • Day-to-day client communication and management

Skills and experience

  • 3+ years experience working in a creative/marketing agency or similar
  • Educated to a degree level in marketing, communications, media, business or equivalent
  • Experience in delivering against agreed marketing strategies
  • Managing project budgets, retainers and sales forecasts
  • Good understanding of digital platforms and marketing, WordPress, PPC, Organic Search, Email, and Social Media
  • Confident using Google Analytics, GA4 and other reporting software
    Ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Passion for digital, innovation and future technology
