We thought it was about time we put our Director, Jess, under the spotlight. From everyday rituals to unexpected confessions, this spotlight reveals the personality, passions and unique quirks that make Jess who she is – get ready to be inspired and entertained!

What’s your favourite thing about your job?
What truly excites me about my job is the incredible people I get to work with. The Halo team is bursting with creativity, passion and fun – they inspire me every single day. Leading this talented crew, supporting their growth and living our values is a true privilege. Finding joy in your work is rare, and I’m grateful to say that I truly love what I do!

What’s the first concert you ever attended?
Steps at Plymouth Pavillions back in ‘99! I can still remember the dance moves!

If you could only wear one colour for the rest of your life, what would it be?
This is a tough one…probably blue – peaceful and versatile!

What’s one surprising fact about you that most people don’t know?
I appeared on SM:TV Live with Ant and Dec as a cheerleader – twice!

If you could invite four famous people to dinner – dead or alive – who would you choose and why?
David Attenborough – for the stories and before it’s too late!
Claudia Winkleman – for the laughs, she is without doubt my favourite TV presenter – Traitors!
Whitney Houston – I’d love to hear her sing live!
Princess Diana – To find out what really happened!

What’s your favourite way to start the day?
For me, it’s up before the sun, a quick beach workout, then back home for cuddles with my girls and a coffee – preferably made for me in my favourite mug.

If you could live in any country, which one would you pick?
Definitely Sri Lanka. We honeymooned there, and it was breathtaking – a mix of coastline, jungle, mountains and rich heritage. The Buddhist community is wonderful, the people are incredibly welcoming and we’re hoping to return this year with our girls for our 10th wedding anniversary!

Finish the sentence:

The app I can’t live without is [Spotify! I’d be lost without the ability to dance around the kitchen!]

With a million pounds to donate, I’d support [charities dedicated to women’s rights, child protection and environmental causes! There’s so much potential for positive change, and by investing in these areas we can create a brighter future for our children and our planet. It’s vital to protect our legacy for generations to come. Plus, empowering women is crucial, and the world truly needs more inspiring female leaders to guide us forward.]

If I was stuck on a desert island and had to eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be – [Thai food or pastries! Difficult I know but you can’t beat either].

Quick Fire Round:

Sunrise or sunset? Sunrise

Birthday or Christmas? Birthday!

Wine or cocktails? Cocktails

Road trip or staycation? Road trip

Snakes or spiders? Spiders
