Antony’s Employee Spotlight

Get to know Antony a little better – from his love of cheesy Italian food to childhood movie obsessions, board game showdowns and dream jobs. Think fun, quirky and a little unexpected!

What’s your favourite type of cuisine and why?
I thought I was going to say Indian, but after thinking about it I reckon Italian. I just love cheese and carbs too much, I even have a slice of pizza tattooed on my arm.

If you could have one talent you don’t currently possess, what would it be?
For no practical reason, I’d like to be able to do a kip up (when you jump up from laying to standing like Jackie Chan does in his movies).

What’s a movie you can quote from start to finish?
When I was in secondary school a friend and I were obsessed with the Austin Powers movies. I reckon I can still reel off all three at a push.

What’s your favourite board game or card game?
My kids love card games, so I often play Dobble and Uno on rotation. When it comes to Uno I show no mercy!

If you could have any job for a day, what would it be?
As a kid I wanted to be a stuntman, but I don’t think my 30-something body would hold up to that anymore. As an adult, definitely something more chilled out where I get paid to eat, so a food critic sounds good!
